I just detailed my wife's Hyundai, and I must say it came out great---thanks to all the info I got here. What is the best way to clean the pads? They are Lake Country blue finishing and a white polishing pad.

I use Simple Green and a garden hose for cleaners and polishes, Murphy's Oil Soap for sealants and waxes since they seem to be a bit more stubborn about removal and the oil soap seems to cut through them fairly well.

Any APC should work. I use Meguiar's APC+ and spray it on the pad... I let it sit for a couple of seconds then I agitate it with my hands. After, I rinse it with water and let it air dry.

Washing machine. With soap & a cup of vinegar.

Purple Power. Easy to find and cleans and rinses much better than dish soap.

Careful here if your washing your clothes and such in the same washer. You don't want to be wearing around and washing your face with chemical residue from pads and mf towels.
