can i use the meguiars "wash and wax car wash soap" to wash my rubber all season floormats?

Hand soap may not be strong enough. Remember, hand soap is made for hands and is therefore relatively mild. If you have Fantastic or 409 that you use to clean the kitchen counters, try that. Eventually, get something like Simple Green

Automobile specfics products tend to cost more.
Unless you get them at good prices, I would just use whenever available in the house. A bristle brush will certainly helps a lot. Over the years, I have used Tide, Mr.Clean, etc...

I use stuff like APC around the house because it works better and costs a lot less than household products.
