most of the time saved will be in the correction step. So if your paint is good, and you dont need to eliminate too many defects by hand, your already ahead. However, while i like to apply pure polishes and waxes by hand, u can still save a lot of time by applying these with the DA. So yes, u will save a lot of time.

Factory clear coat paints are hard. You know how much afford you have to put to remove some paint and correct below surface defects.

D/A polisher is a great tool for all paint needs. It's capable of serious defect corrections and applications of paint polishes and waxes. Plus the machine never gets tired. The biggest advantages are that D/A's are safe and you can master your technique practically in no time. They guarantee superior results on all type of car paints.

After you switch to machine polishing you'll ask yourself: why I haven't done it earlier. I was the same.

As long as your plan of the attack is thought out you will save a good deal of time. IF you correct the paint, expect a final wash before starting the wax phase.

Using a Machine with the correct pad will yield a single, uniform coat that generally is very easy to wipe off. The only thing is that most need a few hours to cure. IMO I think 2 coats of NXT 2.0 and a good 6 hour cure would be optimal. The a follow up with Ult. Quick Wax for max protection.

Sounds great the reason I'm asking is I have to detail a black car that has siwrls and scratchs but the paint is good And the da is a little pricey for me right now but if it helps do the job better I might as well spend the money

I just bought a DA polisher and used it for the first time this week. You can do a lot by hand, but the DA just brings your work to a whole new level removing swirls, and giving a very glass like image. If you have a good amount of experience of detailing by hand, definitely go for it and give it a try. It would be worth your investment.
