    is this tree sap?

    I park my car NOT directly under a tree, but nearby are some trees...every morning, I notice these sticky almost syrup like (it's a clear substance, no color) substance that is on the hood of my car. Does anyone know if this is tree sap or what it is? will it hurt the paint, and what can i do about itThanks!

    What kind of tree is it? It's either sap or what I call "tree droppings". Knowing what kind of tree it is would help a lot.

      not sure what tree it is...but the trees that are all over the street of queens and the sidewalks of new york city

      not like a fruit tree or anything
