  • Microfiber towels leaving fibers

I'm using non-Meguiar's microfiber towels. I find the towels leave tiny fibers all over my car's paint and glass no matter what products I use. In the shade the fibers aren't too noticeable, however the car looks horrible in the sun. Is this normal for microfiber towels? Should I expect this to happen with Meguiar's towels as well? Any way around this issue?

    Thank you,

    Christopher

    Did you wash them first?

Yes. In fact, I've have them for a while so they've been through a few washings. If I remember correctly, they've been this way from the first time I used them.

Some people have had linting with Meguiars towels, but I cant recall myself having problems.

I had some linting from the Vroom brand towels, which was odd cause I had them a while with no linting, then linitng, then had them more with no more.

If they've been washed, and put through a dryer, and they still lint, it is a characteristic of the towels. I've never had any linting with any towels I've ever bought. Try a different brand.
