I am going to use the Megs correction kit next weekend on my black C6 - my question - what type lsp is better over the finishing polish? I currently use tech 2.0, since the FP is a combination of carnubua/polymers which type of lsp is recommended?
if you are using the finishing wax that is the second part of this system then that would be your LSP. if you want to use a different LSP then you will need to use a different final polish.

I was planning on adding a wax/sealant over the megs fp

Well, yes and no. Yes, D301 is indeed a wax so it could be used as the LSP in the two step process that comprises the DA Microfiber Correction System. No, you don't need a different finishing step if you choose to top it all off with NXT, Ultimate Wax, M26, Gold Class, etc. Sure, you can do the primary correction with D300 and then follow with M205 on a foam pad and then wax instead of D301/finishing disc, but you don't have to.
So maxpower, if you're a big fan of NXT Tech Wax 2.0 and want to use it over D301, go for it.

i have been reading that D301 has bonding issues with wax/sealants and it was not recommended to use anything on top of D301.

I personally used NxT Tech Wax 2.0, M26 High Tech Yellow Wax and Ultimate Wax (paste and liquid) on top of D301 without any bonding issues. And it wasn't done yesterday so I could verify that it works indeed.

is D301 the 'finish polish' in the two step correction kit?

We've never said you can't apply a wax or sealant over D301, but if someone using a non Meguiar's product has said this, then it could be that the sealant they're using instructs that it only be applied to bare paint. We've never made that claim for any of our waxes or sealants, and the OP here specifically mentioned NXT.

thanks for the replies.....the reason I asked is that on another forum I had read that there were some bonding issues if a carnauba or carnauba/polymer sealant were not used over the 301
