I was wondering whether WB was safe for normal maintenance, like Hot Rims AWC. Also, is this product safe for painted Brembo calipers?

WB is a strong acidic cleaner and is usually used for cleaning really soiled wheel surfaces; it is not considered a 'maintenance' type product
The cautions and PPE that should be used with this type of product has been the subject of numerous post so I won't repeat them

What he said. WB is too much for maintenance. Just use some soap and/or APC when needed and you should be alright. I only use WB when soap and APC can't cut the caked brake dust.Comment

Cut 10:1 and its fine for maintenance. 4:1 would be overkill for a maintenance wash.
ColinA common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

If the paint is chiped, WB will corode the exposed metal.Comment
