  • I love clay!

No matter how many times I have used it, I am amazed what clay can do for paint.

I do a full detail once a year. I clean and maintain on a regular basis so my paint never gets really 'bad'. In the past my car has almost always been parked under cover at work or in the garage at home...still the paint gets that 'rough' feeling. Once I wash and clay, its smooth as can be. The clay never gets super dirty, but the tell tale brown streaks still show up.

Tomorrow its on to DA/MF...I am looking forward to those results!

New job has outdoor parking so I think more than once a year full detail will be in my future!

I have the same feeling about clay bars: how could we leave without them?

Have fun with DA MF Correction System tomorrow.

Some of the materials and technologies that have changed detailing forever; Polymer sealants, Detailers clay, Microfiber towels, nanotechnology coatings, neutralized acid paint decontamination, and full body vinyl wraps

Automotive OEM technology is becoming more and more complex requiring educated and skilled technicians to work on them. As the materials used are constantly changing we must maintain our knowledge base and utilize the correct products and application methodologies to keep up with emerging technologies.

It is very important to be able to recognise the various finishes and materials used by OEM’s as they all require different methodologies and products for proper care and maintenance.

If only they came with a "care" label.
