difference in PC polishers?

now that i am still pretty much new to the board, i was wondering what the difference in the Porter Cable 7424 and 7336 are?
isnt the meguairs polisher basically a PC 7424, but i have heard that you can get the 7336 at lowes or home depot?
which one is better and is only one of them available to use with the meguiars pads that you can buy?
still not sure if i want to buy one or not, just looking into it, and trying to figure out if it is worth it, and if i would use it enough to make up for the money spent on it.

Hold up and see what sort of deal Mike can work up for us on the Meguiar's PC polishers. They are the same thing as the PC 7424, but the Meguiar's has a lifetime warranty on it compared to a year with the PC. As far as the difference between the 7424 and the 7336..... well good question. Their specs seem to be essentially the same. Anyone know? Still, in my opinion probably worth the little extra for the lifetime warranty on the Meguiar's polisher.

They are the same machine, the onyl difference bieng the 7336 comes with the 6 counterweight and the 7424 comes with the 5 counterweight
