  • Endurance spray, splatter drops

I love the endurance tire spray. I have minimal sling on monday morning when I drive to work, mainly on the bottom part of the painted wheel well section. I have removed it pretty religiously the first afternoon but, it has left a few brown spots I cannot remove. Does this call for a cleaner or a polish? I have tried to clay bar and that does not remove them.

I have come up with an idea to help with the splatter problem in the future after I get these brown spots removed. I plan on applying the dressing as usually but putting a strip of blue painters tape on the underside of the wheel well that is painted. Once I get so far down the road or to work, I will just remove the tape and discard and hopefully have clean wheel well paint.

Are you using the trigger or aero version? I haven't had any sling w/ the trigger, but I also use an applicator pad (I don't spray directly on the tire). As for removal of the brown spots (sounds like the ozonants coming out of the tire), you might try either Ultimate Polish (my new fav) or even Ultimate Compound. Note that I also clean my tires w/ either All Wheel or Aluminum Wheel Cleaner before using Endurance, which also seems to help.

As of now im using Meguiars Supreme Shine. I apply it with a terry cloth applicator for a mess free finish and shine. Simple, quick, clean. 4 sprays per wheel and I work the product into a smooth glossy finish.

I have just experienced too much sling and browning from Gels in the past.
