    DA vs Rotary Pads

    I have been using orbitals and DA's for the past 10 years.
    Are the foam pads interchangable with using a rotary?

    Most foam buffing pads are universal: rotary, dual action. However So1o diamond foam pads are rotary use only.

    Also rotary buffers and dual actions polishers use different backing plates.
