  • Removing Water Spots on Aluminum

I just finished detailing my 6x12 enclosed trailer using D151 and it looks good except for the water spots that are left on the Aluminum wheel fenders. What do you guys recommend I use to remove them. In my arsenal I have M105, 205, D151 and Megs Metal polish. If I remember correctly I used Megs Metal polish in the past and it worked b/c I'm looking for a easier method if possible. I also used the metal polish on the front diamond plate and I felt like I was working for ever, lol

Re: Removing Water Spots on Aluminum

I found H2O spots on aluminum to be hard to remove. The white polishes like Simichrome or your OTC stuff won't really do it. I bought some Diamond Brite truck box polish at Lowes, in the aluminum truck box section. Works great. But you might try #105, it also works pretty good.
