  • Waxes

Ok all you professionals I need little help here. Just finished my Black Cadillac with Microfiber System ( D300 and D301) Now I still want to finish it with some additional wax. I have Ultimate liquid wx, NXT teck Wax 2.0 and Gold Class Carnauba Plus paste wax. Which product will look the best on BLACK car?
Thanks and your input is appreciated.

Do three test spots side by side and pick the one you like best.

That's what I did- I did a three panel comparison after D301, and tried NXT 2.0, ULW, and #16.

#16 and ULW were pretty close and hard to discern a difference, so I went with ULW to try it since I haven't used it full-car before.

NXT 2.0 gave me wonderful depth. Then after a 24 hour cure time, a coat of Hi-Tech #26 with a soft red pad gave it a very wet looking shine. Long lasting as well.

We're with Paul on this one. We all see things a bit differently, and we all like different things. You may prefer a New York Strip, Paul may prefer the Ribeye and I might go for the Prime Rib. Even if they all come from the same cow they'll all be a bit different, and we're going to like what we like. Since you have a variety on hand, why not lay 'em down side by side and see what catches your eye?

Thanks everyone for your input. I tried all, and for ME Gold Class Carnauba Plus paste wax wins.It just looks little richer on black paint.
