  • many many tiny scratches on windsheild HELP!

hey guys it was kinda hard to take a picture of my windshield to point out the scratches on my iphone.

i was wondering if there is any product to fix these scratches. It is really light. You can barely feel the scratches and i think so are rockchips but also very light.

any advice? i dont want to replace the windsheild

You can try polishing it with a compound such as UC, M105 or I think some people here have had success on windshields with M04.

A machine would be best for this...

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Without a buffer it's almost impossible to do it. Glass is 10 times harder than car paint.

I successfully removed wiper scratches with Diamondite glass resurfacing cream and glass cutting disc on a rotary buffer at speed 1,000 rpm. It took about 2 minutes but scratches were not deep.

AutoGeek has some products for glass applications:

                No, that's not the one.

My kit is called Diamondite Glass Repair System. Here's the description:

"Polish scratches out of glass. Polishing glass sounds intimidating but Diamondite has taken the fear out of glass correction with this user friendly System. These products and special applicators are designed to eliminate mild to moderate scratches and mineral etchings with zero risk to the glass.
The Diamondite Glass Repair System targets more noticeable scratches than the Glasswork System. Larger, pyramid-shaped abrasives and specialized applicators give this System more punch to tackle scratches and etchings that fine grade polishes can't touch.
The Diamondite Glass Repair System includes:
                - 4 oz. Glass Resurfacing Creme,
                - 4 oz. Glass Poli-Shield,
                - 3 7/8" rotary backing plate,
                - 1 DA adapter,
                - 1 Gel Applicator pad,
                - 2 Leveling discs."
