There are several products available now that claim "nano" technology and usually very good durability. Some of these products look appealing to me. I use mostly Meg's products because I trust them but am curious as to why this technology is not offered (?).

Meguiar's offers Deep Crystal Nano Coating M188 on Asian market as a long lasting protection against acidy rains which occur in those parts of the world.
That product requires special uniform application and hand protection during the process.
Ultimate Wax offers the longest lasting protection of all waxes/ sealants.

Re: why does Meg's not offer "nano" products?
I thought the Deep Crystal Coating was not a nano product (?).
I think this is more than advertising (at least some of the time) wherein there is a category of products (like wax vs sealant). The product that looks appealing to me is called C4 and is for trim. Should last up to two years and the reviews are good.

Thanks for the links, Greg. I'm actually a little afraid of products that last TOO long. It seems that they could become weathered/degraded and I would be stuck trying to get them off.
Guess I'll stick with UW for now...

Re: why does Meg's not offer "nano" products?
We don't claim M188 Deep Crystal Coating to be a "nano" product. We don't claim "nano" anything in any of our products. It is a great buzz word these days, but if the actual product isn't living up to your expectations, does it really matter what it's called?Michael Stoops
