  • How to wash the washing mitt?

    Hey guys,

I ve used the washig mitt for some time, and it started to get light brown. So I put it in the washing machine, added some arial, but it came out same as it was.

Can i use clorox to get it back to white color was it was when it was new? Or do you recommend any other solution?

    Thanks

    Buy a new one

J/K. Try washing with white vinegar. Rather, add a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle and then run the rinse cycle once more without adding anything. The idea behind the vinegar is that the interaction causes the microfiber nap to open up and release the gunk that gets caught up in their fibers. resumably I think that would include the dirt that is discoloring your wash mitt.

With enough use and no washing, it's quite possible that the mitt is now stained slightly, and you won't be able to fully remove the staining. Bleaching is not normally recommended for microfiber material because it can damage the fibers. If the mitt has been washed is clean, soft and fluffy, even though it is slightly discolored, it should still be fine. But it could also be time to buy a new mitt and dedicate this older one to cleaning of wheels and other other dirtier parts.

With a new mitt (and drying towels), it's a good idea to wash and dry it every time you use it.

After finishing a car. Using the 2 Bucket method I drip it in the clean water. Ring it out, Then put the hose nozzel inside of the "mitt and close the opening around it. The the mitt fills out and I can push the water from the inside, out.

Every time I ready to wash my other MF towels and Water Magnets I toss my mitts into the wash as well. Never an issue.
