Hey guys I need your help, I wanted to detail my car but I'm not really sure what to use. I just bought the dual action polisher so I think ima purchase the yellow polishing pad 2.0 for the compound and the black finishing pad 2.0 for the polishing or glaze...now I don't know what compound I should use. I have a black car with a few light scratches and the trunk looks a bit hazy. So I need help on what compound I should use.. Also what polish or glaze would you guys recommend me using? All the tips, help or advice would help thanks!!

Re: Need help
To be complete, you would probably want Ultimate Compound and either Ultimate Polish or SwirlX on your shelf starting off.
You would do a test spot with the SwirlX/Ult Polish, see how it goes, and move up to UC if needed.
The polishing pad would be for the UC. The polishing pad would also be used for the SwirlX or Ult polish in most cases, so you would likely want a couple pads.
The Finishing pad would be used for the wax, though could be used for the polishing step on some paints, but not usually.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Need help
I would suggest buying Ultimate Compound for your compounding/swirl removal step as this is the product Mike uses in his Saturday classes. As for next polishing step, I would suggest using Ultimate Polish with the black finishing pad.2011 Car Crazy Showcase SEMA Team
