    1 using a clay bar

2 either polish or a cleaner wax

3 apply nxt are you suppose to apply 2 coats? or do i need to apply carnuba wax on top ?

can you put additional coats of nxt on does it help?

    Welcome to the site.

I'd say your plan of attack is good for a daily driver with light swirls. I've used Ultimate Compound, SwirlX and ScratchX depending on differing conditions around the vehicle followed by two coats of NXT 2.0 on my Colorado and Escape. Multiple coats are pretty much just to make sure you don't miss any spots.

Nxt 2.0 is an extremely friendly wax to use for detail enthusiasts as well as people that just want a nice looking car. It's easy to use and the results are pleasing to say the least.

It wouldn't hurt to apply a second coat of the wax the following day to ensure coverage. I don't really believe that you can build up wax with 20 layers or something crazy like that. To go with that thinking...I've never believed in putting Carnuba wax on top of NXT 2.0. Some people do it though, but it's not something that you "need" to do.

The protection offered by NXT is superior to that of Gold Class.

You can apply two coats and you can apply a carnauba wax on top. You don't need to though...

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Removing swirls is a lot more involved than just applying a cleaner/wax of polish, esp working by hand.

Going to likely need something like Ultimate Compound and a good bit of effort by hand. Then waxing.
