seriously, maybe a grit-guard would help, where you store the towels so they don't pick up junk, good pre-rinse, wash top to bottom, separate mitt for wheels, rockers and lower bumper+fender sections, brush for tires... just spit-balling.

Re: need some serious help
Do a search on microfiber care. You'll find references to rinsing with vinegar when you use a washing machine. Also dry it on low or no heat. Using a dryer fluffs up the towel, as opposed to hanging it to dry.
Make sure your mitt is also clean, use grit guard, two buckets and a high quality soap. Make sure to mix soap per label instructions. Properly mixed it provides lubrication and cleaning ability. Your hand should glide over the finish. Don't rub, glide. Wash twice if it's really dirty, but glide on a film of soap.
Treat your mitt like any other microfiber. Wash in a machine and machine dry.
A delicate paint finish will get swirls from looking at it cross-eyed!!!

Re: need some serious help
I don't use a towel to dry my vehicles. After washing I flood the whole car with a slow steady stream of water straight from the hose, no nozzle. That helps remove alot of water. Then I use a cheap electric leaf blower to finish the job. It helps to get water out of the mirrors, crevasses, etc.
