Plan to buy some car detailing accessories though I have questions

Hello,
I plan to buy the even coat microfiber applicator pads but when I search the forum about it, I found out that it breaks easily due to stitching? But that is a old post; 2005-2006. So I wonder if that problem is fixed now, cause I live in Malaysia and doubt I will get Meg USA CS like in my country (and doesn't make sense to ship back the product to the USA if any problems occur since it'll be more expensive then the cloth)

Also just to confirm, the microfiber applicator pads is for hand application right?

Another thing that I always wonder is, what's the difference between ultimate wipe and water magnet? Cause both are listed under Megs car drying tools.

Personally, I like the smooth foam applicator pads, like the Hi-Tec applicator.

Hmm....The Ultimate Wipe is more like the Supreme Shine for product removal. Not drying. Might be a link in the wrong place.
