    How do prodicts like Machine Glaze condition the paint?

    Hmm, cant find a good link on it.

    But basically the top layer of paint is going to lose oils, the pole polish puts some back on the surface that can be absorbed.

    And then can also help fill imperfections, giving a better reflection and gloss.

      Nitrocellulose lacquer is made by taking cotton and treating it with sulphuric and nitric acid, generating an acidic pulp, which can be strained to produce a watery resin. The resulting resin is then combined with a number of fast drying solvents to produce the finished lacquer

      This paint had rapid drying and low viscosity properties, applied with a spray gun leaving a hard dry finish. Its resin binder system require oils to stop them from drying out (this is the reason the myth of ‘feeding’ or conditining paint was propagated)
