Leather Cleaner used on Vinyl [uh oh]

Someone used meguairs gold class leather cleaner on vinyl interior surfaces and is reporting white spots on the vinyl.
what is best way to remove white spots from the vinyl?
any suggestions will be appreciated thanks!

Leather cleaner should be perfectly safe on vinyl, it's the other way around that can be an issue.

At any rate, tell them to try a soft terry cloth towel with warm water and try and massage the affected area and see if anything changes.

Was anything else used? Is it possible whatever was being cleaned off caused the stains?

I have used the new GC leather cleaner on vinyl without any issues so far.

Maybe its a problem with the surface they are working on?

My MINI Cooper had vinyl on the interior and I used GC Leather cleaner on it without a problem.
