Questions about F-150 Roush wheels Chrome treatment

Hi all,

I have a set of 5 Chrome F-150 Roush wheels. I am familiar with detailing... I consider myself a decently knowledgeable novice

Now I have a G110 v2 and have removed swirls in paint, but I bought these from a member of my F150 forum who is local to me. I am the 3rd owner of the wheels and there is minor pitting on it inside of the wheels, but the faces are in pretty darn good shape. How exactly do I remove the swirls from the Chrome? I think the Roush wheels are triple chrome plated andd of high quality if I am not mistaken. I am getting tires put on them so they are at the tire shop, but when I get them mounted on the truck, I am going to town on them as soon as I figure this out. Any ideas?

I would say get the Meguiars wheel polishing kit that has the foam ball thing that attaches to a cordless drill with megs Hot wheel chrome polish that will make them really pop. Plus help get some of the pitting out of the chrome.

Would it remove the little micro scratches in the chrome too?

Might hide them or less noticable, chrome is a hard finish i would try it out and see how it works for you. I have used the chrome polish and it does make chrome shine bright even on my original chrome bumpers, and then wax them with your choice of wax for easy cleaning and helps gaurd against brake dust a little

They are probably still coated, even though they are chromed.

Thanks for the responses guys! I tried a small section of with my Mothers billet polish and it didn't turn black... I'm gonna get the Meguiar's Hot Chrome polish... Thanks
