Hyper Wash in a Gilmour

Can Hyper Wash be used successfully in a Gilmour Foam Gun, if so how many ounces of HW in a quart sized Gilmour and what setting on the gun?

Successfully = generous, full bodied foam and easy rinse off.

Can it be used, yeah.

I dont think you will get that 'shaving cream' style foam you see in some videos, but I prefer the better car wash soap over foam.

Theoretically, the ratio should be 400:1. One ounce of soap in the quart gun and the highest setting would give 320:1, which isnt bad. Being a little stronger should help add more foam.

I myself prefer a mix of Super Soap, NXT Car Wash and a dab of ONR.

I have good luck out of super soap, gold glass, and cheap blue coral soap.

I ran out of Super Soap (which I love) and following the "shop local decree" I found Hyper Wash locally.

Now back to Super Soap, have you ever mixed Ultimate Wash and Wax with it or does the wax lessen the foam??

I bought a bunch of Ultimate Wash and Wax on sale too. See a pattern here...?

I ran out of Super Soap (which I love) and following the "shop local decree" I found Hyper Wash locally.

I actually found that UW&W performs poorly in the foam gun.

Tried it on two seperate occassions on the highest setting and it pretty much looked like straight water with a little soap mixed in.

But I guess its not its intended application method in the end though.

I'm with Nick: I prefer Super Soap and add Next Car Wash if more cleaning ability needed.

Hyper Wash was really developed with that 400:1 dilution ratio for use in commercial equipment that is designed to dilute at that ratio. Super Soap is our only soap designed for use in a low pressure spray application process although, obviously, any of our soaps can be used that way. Gold Class actually works pretty well this way, and we have to admit that we were a bit surprised that UW&W doesn't foam up more since it foams like crazy in a bucket. Go figure.
