  • Wax on Wheels

I applied wax to my summer wheels before I stored them a few months ago in the basement.

After 5 months, are there any wax left?

If they were out of the weather and untouched, then yeah, there is probably most of the wax left.

Agreed, Also should still feel buttery smooth.

For reference. My Trans Am got stored in October/November time. Located in a rented storage unit. Un covered I might add. I had washed and Ultimate Quick Waxed it. I may also mentioned there was a wax layer before that but I had not re applied anything since July of that year.

It came out in Mid March and still smooth as glass so for reference, if like said stored correctly, should have most if not all of the protection.

like stated above there should still be wax left, but why not go over the wheels again to be sure, should be a quick job...

Yeah, no reason to think that the wax wouldn't remain.

I did not think and went ahead to install them. This is why I asked the question.

Good that there is still wax on the wheels because now it's a hard to wax the inside.

Well, it isnt going to last too long anyway... fresh or not wax will wear off the wheels faster when on the car.
