Getting ready to detail; what to get?
I just got my license the other day and I bought a 2001 Dodge Neon ES from my brother. The car was kept nice for a while, but after my brotherbought a house he wasn't able to give the car the time it needed. It probably hasn't recieved a wax or even a cleaning in over a year. The paint doesn't seem to be as bad as it could be, it's still shiny, just has the small cobweb effect on the paint all over the car. I want to get ready to wax it soon but it's usually only 35 F a day, so I can't start yet. I want to get this car as clean as possible and get all the tiny scratches out. Can you tell me what to start with? The only thing I have right now is the NXT Car Wash, so I think I will go the NXT route. Here's what I put together, but I wouldn't know what order to put everything on. Can you also tell me what I need to put everything on (detailing by hand)? The only thing I know is the wash mitt! I'm sure I need some towels and things though, but I don't know what's best! Thank you very much!
