My wife has an 08 eclipse. There are light scratches on her clear LED Headlights and even some on her clear spoiler. Is plastix safe to use on these to remove the scraches? There is no oxidation. Also i have a bug deflector on my car (smoke color) it has swirls from using a bad microfiber, will Plastix work on that as well?

Re: Plastix
on the trunk there is a chrome lookong spoiler but over it is a plastic casing. You can kinda see it here
you can scroll throught the pictures for a better view.
Now the swirls are mostly on the tail lights and you said you'd leave em alone?Am i obsessed?? A car is the second biggest financial investment for most people, why not keep it looking better than new?

Re: Plastix
I wouldnt really want to remove the UV coating on the lenses unless needed. I just usually use a milder cleaner/wax.
I would think the tail lights have the same coating.
Seems like it would be ok for the spoiler, just do a small corner at first.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
