Hello everyone i just ordered a P.C. 7424 and was wondering if its OK to use Deep Crystal Sys. paint cleaner with it? followed by the step 2 polish, and then NXT. Im just concerned about the paint cleaner actually. Any help would be great.

What kind of pads will you use? Are there any specific flaws or defects your trying to correct? What is the condition of the paint?
Have you looked into using a detailer clay?

These are a few questions that should be addressed. To answer your question yes the DC system can be used with the PC. I'm sure you have extra pads so that each product gets its own pad. Product, Pad and Speed settings for the Porter Cable Dual Action Polisher. This will get you started.

    Good luck

    Nice looking ride.

The pads I ordered from autogeek.com, I will clay the entire car before the paint cleaning, Im just going to try and get some minor spiderwebs out, last spring I was able to get them out by hand, this year I just want it a little easier. So this should take me about 4 hours instead of 7-8. Thank you

Yep your gonna save bundles of time this year.

Please share your before and after pics along with your process used. There are a few mustang owners on this forum. I used to own one. The stang started looking great when I joined this site. I traded the stang and made a little bit of money on the trade.

          Good luck

              Hey E'sStang03GT

If you have some minor marring, you may want to use Meguiar's #80 Speed Glaze with a W-8006 Polishing Pad (PC set to speed 5) after the claying step. This will really add depth to black and darker colors!

Good Luck and keep us posted!

Judging by the looks of that Stang, you don't need any DC cleaner on it. I would go with the #80 too.

I wonder how the Stang would look with a couple coats of NXT on it? Sure looks great with the DC system!
