Get wax marks off vinyl trim

I just put the first coat of wax on my brand new Kia. Used the Gold Carnuba Plus. Despite trying hard not to, I got some wax on the vinyl trim. I've tried everything to get the white marks off, from soap to windex to lacquer thinner and NOTHING seems to work. Can someone please help me???

Take a toothbrush and spray some APC on it and carefully agitate the affected area, you could use a terry cloth as well.

Use a pink eraser and scrub it off.

Yes like allenB said, get yourself a pink eraser from like walmart it works great. Ive learned my lesson i always tape off my trim when im claying and waxing

Try smooth peanut butter rubbed in gentle then removed with a MF the oils help to remove the wax.

Im not sure about white ones. Ive only used the pink ones

Give Ultimate Liquid Wax a try next time and avoid this all together next time! Since I went ULW on my Avalache and Acadia I wont be going back. Both vehicles have a ton of plastic trim

Yes the white ones will work. They seem to be a little softer than I would like but they work just fine.

It does take a little time if you have a lot of wax covered areas to work on. I notice it along the pin strips on my Expedition and it takes some time to work down the side of the car. I am going to give Ultimate Wax a try but I really like the look of Gold Class on black.
