Hi guys, I just purchased a 2011 GMC Denali and I want to make sure I start off right in caring for it. I am going this afternoon to purchase all of my cleaning materials and would like to get a list of what you guys would start with. I have an Auto Zone and O'Reilly's close by. Thanks and I look forward to learning alot here.

If you want to shop well, I would be planning to shop online. Soemthing like Autodetailingsolutions.com, autopia, etc.
As a start, I would want:
1. Wash - Gold Class Soap, good mitt, 2 buckets, Grit Guards, Water Magnet Towels
2. Clay - Smooth Surface Clay klt, extra bottle of two of QD.
3. ColorX
4. Wax - Ultimate Wax
5. Maintain - Ultimate Quick Wax after future washes
Supreme Shine towels to femove products. Hi-Tec Foam Applicators for applying.
Of course the list can go on and on...
Nxt Glass Cleaner, A tire shine, a metal polish if needed, interior products, wheel cleaner...2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue -

AutoGeek.net is another fantastic place to buy from. They always have buy one get one free deals and free shipping deals. They are top notch when it comes to customer service. They also have a crazy amount of products to chose from.

If you're going to a local auto store, I would suggest buying the basics such as Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash or Meguiar's Ultimate Wash and Wax as your car soap. I would also buy their smooth surface clay kit to remove the above the surface contaminants bonded to your paint's finish. For removing swirls, I would buy the Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish. To protect all that hard work, I would buy either Ultimate Wax or NXT 2.0. As for miscellaneous items, I would buy some microfiber wash mitts and towels. I would also get 2 5 gallon buckets from Home Depot
