Spray Paint Fix

What do you do when your car was vandalized by hoodlums with spray-paint?

I am considering an insurance claim, but... might it be fixable? I mean, the good paint should be right below the spray paint... right?

Any idea how to safely get it off? Also, will it help that the car was last washed and Waxed last Saturday?

dam i wouldnt know
the first thing i would do it start claying.if that dont work then maybe compound or wetsanding as last resort
but honestly thats just wat i would attempt

I've removed spray paint by claying a couple of times. Just make sure you get on it as soon as possible.

You can try lacquer thinner, but be advised that it could hurt the finish. I would try it on a small spot.

I ended up claying using Tarminator. It got most of it off. Then I tried ScratchX (the old kind) and cotton towels... no go.

Then I tried Unigrit 3000... no good, Unigrit 2500... some help..., then I tried unigrit 2000 and it took care of the problem.

Finally, I hit it with Unigrit 2500 again, then Unigrit 3000 again.

Next, I used Scratch X and terry clots again.

I applied Deep Crystal Polish #2 and topped with Nxt Tech wax.

I was 100% successful in removing the spray paint... but I was getting concerned at first.

Lacquer thinner.It wont hurt the paint if its not fresh
