  • Ready to move up

Heyy guys whats up? My birthday is right around the corner and I thought id treat myself to a nice gift. Ive been working by hand for awhile now ( applying wax, ultimate compound, ect) and im ready to move up with a polisher. Heres my question. What should I buy? The G110V2 or the new microfiber correction system? Whats the difference in the two? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

    Re: Ready to move up

Well, the G110v2 is the actual tool, while the DA Microfiber Correction System is a system of microfiber buffing discs (pads) and liquids that you use with the G110v2. The DA System is an alternative to more traditional foam buffing pads and traditional liquids. So the good news is, if you pick up a G110v2 you can use either the DA System or foam, depending on your needs.

It really depends on what you're doing.

If all you are doing is taking care of your car, which is probably in good shape, then you may not want to go with the Microfiber Correction System as it is more designed to handle neglected finishes. The D301 Microfiber Finishing Wax can be used as a cleaner/wax if you wanted to though.

Any more information on exactly what you want to accomplish and what you will be doing? This would help us make a better judgement on what products to suggest.

Congrats, your doing exactly what I am, buying something for your birthday. I was planning on getting myself a g110v2, but there sold out everywhere and probably wont be back in stock untill after my birthday.

Anyhow.... get both! ... Just be prepared to wait for the v2 to come back in stock. I'm on a waiting list

Its ok, they did a little re-designing or something I think, so better anyway.
