Ok, I am a newbie and with my new black Camaro i do not want to make things worse. Try as I minght I am seeing swril marks in the paint. I have used Meguiars everytime but things just happen. I don't have a buffer so I was wondering if I can just hand rub some of these swril marks and minor scratches out? and if so what would be the best products for use with just hand rubbing?

Any pics in the sun would help a lot.

Some of the swirls could be from the dealer, some could be from you. Want to be sure to be washing properly, 2 bucket method, Gold Class soap, quality towels/sponges to minimize new swirls.

As far as removing what is there, you will likely want to pick up the Smooth Surface Clay kit, Ultimate Compound, Ultimate Polish, and Ultimate Wax.

It is the UC that would be removing swirls/scratches, so that will need worked in with some passion, focusing on a small area at a time.
