  • NXT 2.0 or Ultimate Wax? hide swirls better?

    Last Step Process/time constraints.

LSP....which will hide and fill-in more swirls?

I just wanted to know which product will do that
pending I don't prep the car with
clay, cleaner wax....etc.... because of time constraints.

my process would be to wash the car by hand, then apply
by hand either NXT 2.0 or Ultimate Wax.....

Ultimate wax should hide swirls better.. I would go the carnauba based route, Gold class CP or deep crystal Carnauba. I'd go the GOld Class route.. However, i don't see anything wrong with Cleaner wax as your stand alone wax (no LSP). The cleaners in it should make it even better at hiding (even removing ) very light imperfections.

Use UQW/UQD in between waxing sessions.

My ASSUMPTION is that carnauba based products hides swirls better than synthetics..

Ultimate Wax topped with UQW will do an excellent job of hiding things.

Ultimate quik wax does hide swirls quite nicely for a spray wax, its just sad ultimate wax paste/liquid has yet to reach our shores! Its something i look forward to trying, but NXT 2.0 has been giving me nice results.

I honestly haven't seen much of a difference between NXT 2.0 and Ultimate wax in terms of hiding swirls, etc. Given your situation, I'd just use NXT 2.0.

The only major difference I've noticed is that Ultimate wax seems to really repel water on the surface, where as NXT 2.0 just beads the water.
