I just purchased a 2001 E350 van. It's in great mechanical shape however the outside needs serious help.
The previous owner was a wood flooring contractor. His brother accidentley splashed polyurethane stain all over the side of the van and didn't tell anybody about it. As such, its been on there for 6 to 8 months. Additionally there is still adhesive on the the van from the lettering the original owner had on it.
Do you guys think its possible to buff this out and if so what products would you recommend? I used a 3 part Maguires system on my 1989 F250, before I sold it, and it turned out great.
My other option is to get it repainted at Maaco or Earl Schibe. Over the phone they were guessing between $600 and $900 dollars to repaint it.
I'd post pictures but evidently I'm not allowed.
Thanks for your help.
Matt
