    Hello Tafner,

Sorry, can't answer this because I never tried the Megs Clay bar.
I never noticed any problem such as haze or any harm on the paint.

Re: How to correct this car?

        Hey guys, thanks for everything

Thanks Andrew, for the portuguese message, I liked that!

So....actually I dont have this polishing product you guys mentioned (to use after ultimate compound)

Will that be bad ? I mean its REALLY necessary? Will my car be worse than before (without any shine)?

I will take a look at the 3M Clay Bar, I should have bought a Clay Kit separatedly

        Thanks

It's always good to do a test spot before doing the whole car. After washing and claying use Ultimate Compound on just a small portion of the paint, work for a little bit and remove it before drying. If it finishes great, GREAT !

That's great. Do you have some pictures ?

How did the clay bar worked ? Did you find it to be small ?

              Good luck!

It would be, UC is a abrasive polish (correct me if im wrong) therefore after applying that you need to move down to a cleaning/less abrasive polish? to smooth the paint.
So it would be a 2-3step process
                1. Abrasive Polish
                2. Less Abrasive/Cleaning Polish
                3. Applying Sealant/Wax

                  Something after UC isnt 'needed'....

Being a strong cleaner, it could leave a few marks of its own, or may not, who knows. So just use the UC, and see how things go. If all looks clear, then move on to waxing and dont worry.

Or even if a little marring, can move on to waxing and work on the marring next time.

                    Hi

After all the clay bar is big enough....I did the hood and the roof and it still preety much new, so I think I wont have problems this time

I noticed something: there are some white spots (like white tint, sprayed on my vehicle) which will get out with claying, but only after SEVERAL passes (something like 100 passes) , this is killing me (I couldnt even move my arm when I was claying the hood, and I only got like 30% of these white marks out)

Sadly my camera isnt in my hands, but I will take a picture this week (before applying UC)

Re: How to correct this car?

Sounds like some really dried on white paint someone sprayed near the car. A more agressive clay could help with that.

                        I noticed I was wrong

After I clayed the hood and roof, i did the lower portion of the doors (which now are AMAZINGLY smooth in comparison with before) and I noticed now there are tons of MICRO scratches , I think the clay might be the reason, which is no problem since I will apply UC anyway

Luckly I still have another 2 small clay bars

If you were having to rub that hard, it certainly could be from the clay.

Its a labor of love and a lot of work, but soon you'll be able to see a significant change
in your paint. Just by claying alone you should be starting to get that desire finish....
                            Good Luck....

If you sometime in the future get these micro scratches again and don't feel like using UC, a mild cleaner/polish would be the perfect solution. Ultimate Polish, M80, or even something like a cleaner wax.
