  • pearl white - good recipie?

my boss's caddy w/pearl white may get a detailing treatment...here's some of my products

clay(should use but too labor/time intensive)
    megs DACP
    megs DC2
    megs cleaner/wax
    ColorX
    NXT
    #16
(yes I have drank the meguiars kool-aid!)
    have PC and pads
what combo do you think will make the pearl white pop and give me a few brownie points??
paints in decent shape...may have had some liquid glass at some time...

.I may have a severe time limitation (less than 5hrs) for both interior and exterior...somethings got to give - so I figure lose the clay step...claying would obviously be ideal but.....do you think the NXT will "darken" the pearl in the white??I've used it on my silverstone Z and I do like the shine of the NXT...but does darken a bit more than I like

    Here's one possible option

    Clay during the wash
    rinse
    #83
    DC 2
    #16

If the car isn't in bad shape you may not need #83, but I would definately not skip the clay, if you do it while you wash it saves a lot of time. IMO, I would forego the NXT in this case and just use #16, had this been a darker color it would have added something. You may want to look into getting some #80 in the future, it's the best follow up to #83 and is also a great stand-alone polish. Good luck and have fun.
