Work the NXT until the coverage is thin and even, not very long at all. Work the pure polishes the same way, long enough to spread it evenly and thinly across the surface of the finish.

There is no 'intense buffing' involved with these products.

        Hey,

        Don has covered it.

With either pure polishes or Last Step Products, it is generally apply with even over lapping passes and then remove when appropriate depending on product.

The other thing to keep in mind is that you need to lower the speed of the PC to around 3 for applying the above items.

For removal of NXT, I would strongly suggest using a Meguiar's Ultimate Bonnet over a clean W-8006 with the PC at speed 5. This will leave an incredible finish!!!

        Cheers!

          Hello mmoc7,

I hope the following answers your questions.

If you're using a PC to apply a wax, just spread the product evenly across the entire surface and allow it to cure. Buffing the product into the finish is not necessary. Try to use a W9006 Finishing Pad with your speed setting at about 3.5-4.0 on the dial. There's no need for a fast setting.

Applying a pure polish (i.e. Show Car Glaze or Deep Crystal Step 2 Polish) with a PC should be done one section at a time. Using a W8006 Polishing Pad, buff the product in evenly until it starts to haze. If you are working on a clear coat, do not allow the product to dry completely, as this may cause the product to be slower to wipe off. If this happens, reapply the product quickly over the affected area and remove it right away. This will reactivate the product. Your setting will be somewhere between 3.5-4.5 on the dial. Keep in mind that one of the keys to applying a pure polish effectively may be simply adjusting to your environment or the length of time that you're buffing.

          I hope this helps.
