  • lambswool or microfiber.

    Hi,

the other day i came across some info which suggests lambwool washing mitt are apparently safer to use on paintwork to prevent holograms rather than microfiber washing mitts, they say due to it having larger fibers, it has a much better capacity of safely lifting and holding dirt than microfiber, logically it does kinda make sense? what are your views on this?, i would like to know, especially from proffesionals like mike.

Not a professional by any stretch of the imagination...I just like Lambs wool.
They don't last as long as a MF, but to me they seem to hold the suds better, and I certainly don't have any marring from them.

I think it is much like anything else... There are good quality versions of both, and bad ones.

The good ones work good and are safe on the paint, and the bad ones are rough and scratchy.
