NXT 2.0 wax on ABS chrome?

I recently purchased a new grille for my truck. I'd like to protect it with something. I use the nxt 2.0 polish for just about everything.

The grill is comprised of an abs chrome outside grille with a polished billet insert as shown here:



Could I use this for this application as well?

Pic did not work, but yes wax is fine on chrome.

If the billet has any texture to it, you may not want to wax it as the wax could be hard to remove from the grooves.
