  • Wax in Winters

Not sure what to do in these winter months.

Can I wax in winters? How about UQW? There is no heat in my garage.
I received #16 (Professional Paste Wax) in December, still have no chance to use it.

For what I know, no waxing on temps below 55F

You can wax whenever the surface is clean... but the colder it is, the hard the wax will be to apply, longer to dry, more likely to streak.

The UQW would probably work ok at lower temps than the liquid/paste waxes.

I went to lowes and got a $45 space heater that is made for garages and it works very well. I'd recommend picking one up, it makes everything so much easier.

I have used UQW when it was about 45 out and it worked fine. I also used NXT 2.0 when it was about 45-50 and it worked fine. I wouldn't use NXT 2.0 if it was in the 30s but I would use UQW.

Unfortunately, there is no electric outlet in my garage as well.

I will no choice but to wait until it's like 5-6c so I can do UQW.

I don't have UW&W. This product is not available in Canada (Toronto and Montreal).

Also, I washed the floor mats last night and I noticed the carpets were soaking wet. I then tried to soak upthe water by paper towels but not doing a very good job. Is there any better way?

Extensions cords don't cost that much.

Garage is located in the back of my apartment, separated by the backyard which is now snow covered.
Not a good idea to drag the extension code through the snow.

This afternoon will be -3C (26.6F) here in Toronto.

Washed the car yesterday and am very tempted to apply NXT.
Guess I will settle with UQW due to the temperature.
