Unfortunately, #16 is going away. New volatile organic compound (VOC) laws have yielded much more strict regulation and use of such products within EPA Region 9 (CA). Meguiar's, as a very responsible environmentally sound company, opted to remove a few products in order to comply with the said regulations.
Now, you may be asking "why in the world does this affect me in Michigan?...". Well, again, unfortunately, this VOC regulation is at the beginning of the pipe and is set to trickle down to the rest of the remaining EPA regions in the coming few years.
As those of us who are in the environmental business know, EPA Region 9 is the trend-setter for nearly all environmental regulation within this country.
Here's a thread that deals specifically with the discontinued products which include, #2 Fine Cut, #16, and the entire Medallion Line from Meguiar's.

As for total stock, that's a question that you may need to address with the Customer Service folks in the very near future. Give them a call at 1-800-347-5700. They should be able to point you in the correct direction and set you up with an order of remaining stock if it's available.
