  • Question about No. 57

Was ambling around AutoZone a couple of days ago. Stumbled across a bottle of No. 57 Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner on their marine/RV shelves. Never heard of this product. Bought some, and gave it a try on weatherstripping. Seemed to do a nice job, although the fragrance was definitely NOT appealing. Would not want to use it on the inside of the car for that very reason.

My question is: what is this product's claim to fame? How does it stack up against all the other vinyl cleaning/shining products that Meguiar's sells?

    Hi there,

    Try these:

What Happens When You Don't Use #57

Marine #57 vs. Mirror Glaze #40

I tend to agree the smell of the product isn't that great.

      Appreciate it

Thanks for those two very enlightening links. Now I can honestly say that buying the #57 was probably a small mistake on my part (because of the smell).
