  • GC: Rich Leather

I have 2 bottles of Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner and Condition, one in a spray bottle and the 2nd one in a non-spray bottle.

Since the spray bottle is running out, I opened the other bottle and surprising, this one is in paste form!

I bought these products a few years ago because I live in Toronto, I usually buy Meguiars products in bulk by mail order.

Did my 2nd bottle turn bad or it actually came in paste form? Can I still use it?

What do you mean by paste form? Megs does not sell a paste leather product.

Found it. It is a paste (creamy, instead of liquid) form in the video demos.

Kind of confusing. Nowhere in the site nor from the bottle that says this is a paste.... I actually thought this is a refill of the spray.

It's a lotion consistency correct? If it hasn't separated or if it doesn't smell bad then it should be fine.

It smells like plastic, or leather.
However, it is kind of thick and it's not easy to be poured out.

Where are you from? If it doesnt seem right, you should be able to return it for a proper one.

                      Thanks for all the replies.

I started the thread because I thought my non-spray bottle expired and the liquid somehow turned into cream. I used a bit yesterday and I did not like it. It's hard to come out from the bottle and it's hard to remove once applied to the leather.
Not sure if both products offer the same protection but I definitely prefer the spray.

Any suggestion to apply this cream to perforated leather?

The cream will fill up some of the holes of the leather. Once they solidify, it will be very difficult to remove and I will end up with white dots everywhere.

Generally speaking, apply less. Kind of get your towel moistened with it, and wipe around. Dont want to be 'pushing' the cream around, as it will fill in the holes then.

So far, not liking this cream product. The spray one is a spray-and-wipe, much better.

Actually, I found mink oil is very good for leather shoes and coats. Not sure if I should try it on leather seats!!!
