  • claying- uqd or just qd?

As you all know, the meguiars clay kit comes with a bottle of quik detailer, but I also have a bottle of ultimate quik detailer, should I just use the uqd instead of quik detailer?

    thanks alot.

No, do not use UQD for claying. It doesn't allow the clay to do its job as well and is more expensive. Use the QD for claying.

Definitely stick with regular QD for clay lube (or M34 or Last Touch diluted 1:1), but stay away from UQD or M135 for this use. The polymer load in them makes them too slick for this purpose and reduces the efficiency of the claying process.
