Simply you can do Parts with the audio apart and some parts with the audio included. But no rules make the way you like but more professional videos, more people watching

yeah thanks i see what you mean. i tried to make it so the good parts were in. i think i did good. people tell me i should do audio separate but i think that takes away the fun. a barking dog maybe some wind. it makes it interesting since detailing is done outside for the most part. i thank everyone for the tips

I commend your enthusiasm. Keep seeking new knowledge, even the seasoned detailers never stop trying learn. I have twins in college who are studying computer graphics and animation. I also have a 15 year old who makes video game tutorials.

One thing that I notice that my kids do is that they keep their video and audio separate. They delete portions of the video that are redundant or unneeded so that the viewer is always kept interested. Since they are not in the videos or at least not their faces they record the audio for the video post editing.

I'm a police instructor, we are required to know the subject that we teach like the back of our hand prior to teaching. This requires an ENORMOUS amount of research and practice. My kids hate that I practice on them by teaching portions of any new class on them prior to actually teaching it.

Good luck, keep up the enthusiasm.

KMS has them for about $20. I don't think every store stocks them though. should say on their website

I thought you did a good job. The debate about filling the bucket up with water first and then adding soap or adding soap then filling with water will never end.

Deep Crystal is a good wash IMHO. I like it for washing wheels and wheel wells and sometimes for paint. But, I don't really wash my car traditionally anymore so no need for car wash soap.

    Keep on reviewing!

Check out eshine.ca for Grit Guards. Or KMS tools if you're from BC or Alberta. Although Eshine sells them for half the price.

BTW ... the comments referencing your buckets where not to say that they were old or the like but rather a comment referencing a method (2 buckets with grit guards) just making it clear as im sure you will run out to home depot and buy two new buckets and post a video on your new two bucket method.
As stated when washing you should start at the top and work your way down ... you started at the top then went to the side then the bottom (gathered the most dirt) then rubbed it all in the middle sections.

You may want to try Home Depot as they usually have the right size 5 gallon buckets which hold your future Grit Guards () perfectly. I actually use 3 buckets with Grit Guards, but I am a little crazy!

To be honest, your videos and knowledge will come in time. The best thing is that you have the enthusiasm! Stick with it!!! But along the way, try and learn as much as you can. The more actual knowledge and practical experience you gain, will in time, begin to show in your reviews. Try working on a more professional appearance to your posts by using proper spelling and grammar. Remember, it is the whole package!

Until then, you must be patient! And remember, everyone here on MOL is car crazy and since you were washing your car in January, you are definitely Car Crazy!

    Tim
