here are some pics of the scratches and sorry for the bad quality i just took them and its night time now
i was either going to get colorX or scratchX
i want to know what will be good on it or a wax like NXT 2.0 will help
polishers idk anything about them well please help me out and give me some hints and tips
i used a little touch up paint and figured it was messing with the rest of the fine paint my car color is silver and its a new car

    Hi Exia,

I approved the post for now, but we really need to get these images re-sized. They are so large I have to scroll way over on my 22-inch widescreen!

Can you please re-size your images (Instruction here) and post them again in a reply? I will then edit the original post for you and replace the oversized images.

    Thanks!

ColorX is a good product in general, but not for scratch/swirl correction.

I would want SwirlX and possibly Ultimate Compound on my shelf, but you could look at a tube of ScratchX if you dont want to buy as much product. It is a little weaker than UC though.

And then a smooth foam applicator, and go for it ith a little passion.

i dont want something that will make the surface not as smooth as it was since it is still a brand new car and it was my bad tho
i was thinking of scratchX but then idk what i should use also if the nice shine/gloss and the smooth texture is gone
i tried using touch up paint with a toothpick to fill in the scratches but it is hard
so what should i use after scratchX?

The pic doesnt strike me as needing touch-up paint, unless it isnt showing the damage as much as in person.

But if you use the ScratchX 2.0 with a smooth foam applicator, there should be no need to follow up with anything after to 'bring the shine back', it should still be there.

We agree - the picture doesn't look as bad as we had initially expected so a fix shouldn't be too difficult. The big question is, can you feel this scratch with your fingernail? If not, or if just barely, then odds are ScratchX will take care of it and, as Murr stated, you shouldn't expect any loss of gloss or smoothness after using it. Just apply some wax to the area once you're done.

Certainly the best place to start.
