Hi all and happy new year! I live in South Florida where the water seems to be very hard from my experience and based on charts I've seen online. I always wash and dry quickly with a Meguiars chamois and waffle weave towel during the late afternoon. I still get lots of water spots on my hood, roof, and trunk. Quick detailers after a dry seem to help but not that much. I read all the other posts I could find here but I don't want to spend like $300 plus for a complete water filtering system. Are there any other options? I used to use Mr. Clean for the rinse but the system broke and they discontinued it.

Re: Best Solutions to Hard Water
Does you house use soft water? I placed an extra valve on my soft water unit with a small hose. Where I live we are on well water so its full on minerals. The soft water cuts it down so I dont get water spots.
If this works for you or anyone else, let me know. I will post a pic of the setup. It cost less then 20 bucks to set up

Re: Best Solutions to Hard Water
What solution do you use? We have city water as far as I know. Also, I switched from nxt wash to gold class a while back when the store stopped carrying it locally. Is nxt better to combat hard water and should I switch back to it and order online?
