So I landed a new job. At the time my car OCD trigged the thought, awesome! they have a parking garage!!!!! But it got way better. Apparently the company has an arrangement with a local detailing shop where they come out on site and detail your car. With the weather being like it is, they currently take the vehicles back to their shop.
I saw this as an awesome opportunity since I'm not able to do the detailing myself. (Garage isn't built yet...just the foundation right now) It was an extreme benefit when we got freezing rain one day that coated my entire car in about 2mm thick of ice. That was a depressing day.
Now the detail shop had this 1year polymer paint sealant that my OCD insisted on having simply because it sounded cool and because I fear what the salt on the road is doing to my car. About 3 months ago I had done several applications of NXT wax and swirlx to remove some beginning signs of swirls. It seems that they managed to strip this from the car in the process of removing all the contaminates in the paint to do the application. I only think this is the case because I've noticed some of those swirls again.
Does anyone know if this polymer sealant does anything worth the money or is it just a glorified synthetic wax treatment much like NXT? I've attached a link to their website. (Please note that the prices listed aren't what I paid. They are pretty expensive. The shop gives a very generous discount the company I work for since they generate a lot of business.)....I wonder if they use Meguair's products. Since they were claiming number one in nation for two years....I just assumed so.
