I start with the wheels, jams & engine before moving onto the body, but it really doesn't matter

You should change your app pads everytime you switch products

Well, lets see... I do wheels first, then the body as well.

I would use the APC on the tires/wheelwells, and the All Wheel Cleaner on the tires. Have some soft brushes, etc to agitate the cleaners. Then rinse.

Then for the body:
1. Wash - 2 buckets, 1 for soap, 1 for rinse water.
2. Clay -
3. Clean - SwirlX or UC as needed
4. Wax - Nxt

5. Maintain - After future washes, you would use UQW. And UQD would be used to remove bird droppings, light dust, etc.

And you can apply your tire shine at the end, I like to apply, let sit for a few minutes, and then dab the tire with an old towel to get any excess.

btw, what is the meaning of dillution 4:1, 8:1,etc??i honestly don't know..i read from a website that by 4:1 it means that we must put 4oz of apc in 1 gallon of water..is that correct??but where do I mix the solution?i've heard bout the meg's dillution bottle,but they don't have it here in indonesia..well,in my city..AND how do we measure 4oz??feeling??

also i'd like to ask if UQD can be kept in my trunk or not??coz i always park my car outside when i'm in school and there's been the occasional bird dropping and tree sap once in a while..but the weather in indonesia is very hot..can the temp in my trunk damage the UQD or it will not be affected??

APC on tires/wheelwells.
All Wheel Cleaner on wheels.
Wash, clay, clean, wax, etc.
You can do the interior while the wax is drying, or do the interior another day, etc.
If you were to clean the engine, you would probably want to do it before washing the car.

You can probably use 8:1 for most cleaning with APC+. Basically it is 8 parts water, 1 part APC. So you can use any amount you want, just have to buy your own spray bottle. Then pour in the APC, pour in the water, and shake to mix.

Yes, 8 of water, to 1 of APC.

I think you mean UQD.

As far as the heat... not sure really. The regular QD is probably a little less heat sensitive, but even then it is not going to be recommended to leave it in a hot trunk.

Perhaps some other people here would have experience if the QD will hold up or not.

Side Note: Change out your car wash solution after doing your wheels/engine/jams. I actually change out mine 3-4 times each wash. I didn't want you to misunderstand what I was saying

But the QD I hav is Aerosol..isn't it more sensitive to heat??

Do u guyz know what is the maximum temp that UQD can bear??thx a lot..

I have never had a lot of luck with QDs in the sun. No matter what, they always seem to streak.

However, a way to minimize it and get it streak free is to spray the section like you regularly would. Wipe it off, flip the towel to a dry portion and dry it. Then, use a very light mist on the surface you just did. Wipe it off and buff using a dry portion of the microfiber. This is my process and it works pretty well even on black surfaces in the sun.

I think Meguiars recomends under 120F for all products.

I dont know if the aerosol will be better or worse either.

Not sure about washing, probably can. Have to get some more answers on washing, I just use the regular machine + Tide or whatever.

As for the interior, it kind of varies by what you need.

Say for a general wipedown of the dash, you would spray a cloth, and wipe around.

For carpet, you may want to spray on directly, and agitate with a towel, brush, etc.

Seats are kind of in between.... You dont really want to soak a seat, so I try to dab with a towel first. I'll spray on directly if needed. If it is taking a lot of cleaner, I may let it dry some then resume cleaning.

Vacume thoroughly first, then spray carpets with your solution. Let it soak in for 15-20 minutes then get busy

You don't want to soak your carpets with either. Just use enough of each to give you some working time
